Previewing “Of Time and Again” by Kevin M Sheetz

We’re happy to announce a soon-to-be-released book of poetry by frequent Shy City House contributor Kevin M Sheetz - “Of Time and Again.” Ranging from surrealist, experimental work to highly personal poetry, with a healthy dose of Zen throughout, this book reads like a loaded gun begging the question. Below are two poems from the collection, which will contain over 100 poems, along with collage art. We anticipate a mid- to late-September release date - stay tuned!

A Thousand Sons

little bug
trudging through
the hair on my leg
keep going
you’re almost
there

Again

at first
and for some time afterward
it had seemed like magic
but finally it was just another
tangled knot of human
emotions
as it always is
